History
That of the Bertocci brand is an all-Italian story of craftsmanship,
originality and innovation.
Founded in 1929 by Arnolfo Bertocci, the company started production of hardware hinges and only
a few years later the bathroom accessories were added to the range, which in the 1940s became
indispensable articles for the bathroom.
This extension of the range gives the company the turning point that in a few years projects it
throughout the world as a pioneer and then leader in the bathroom accessories sector.
In 1929 Arnolfo Bertocci began his activity of production of metal hinges in the workshop of Porta San Frediano, in one of the most ancient districts of Florence.
The 1950s mark the birth, with the Giglio series, of the first collection of chromeplated brass accessories for the bathroom.
From the beginning of the 1960s the range of product has been renewed and expanded.
The 70s break into all of Italy in all their power. For the company this is the moment of consolidation and of success.
It is a moment of great creativity and new products. Corrimano and Segno, born at the end of the previous decade, express their full potential in the 1980s.
In May 94 the Cinquecento series was born, a wide and complex collection, which touched consensus and sales records in the company’s history, which is now undisputed leader in Italy.
Bertocci gives birth to the collection On-Line, which bounds together stylistic rigor and maximum freedom of expression.
The new collection “ Fly” designed by Meneghello and Paolelli Associates was presented in absolute preview at Cersaie 2016, ant it won the “ADI CERAMIC DESIGN AWARD”.
Awarded with the international award ICONIC DESIGN AWARD 2018.
The collaboration with the Luigi Fragola Architects studio is born and the “Officina 01” series awarded of ADI 2019.
